since you haven’t done peruvian food yet, try mario’s peruvian on rossmore and melrose….i’m sure you’ve heard of it, but it has been one of my favorite restaurants in LA….specializes in seafood….try the lomos saltado, seafood saltado, and mussels or ceviche.

Hey, Sylvia. Actually, I did get around to Peruvian (there’s a LOT to go through, I know) and had a pretty awesome meal at pollo a la brasa. The chicken there is pretty much to die for.

do you have a place where you list your top 10?

There aren’t any Saudi restaurants that I know of but here are names of Saudi dishes that you could look for at Khaleeji/Arabic restaurants :
kabsah, taht elgdr, imarag belisbar, mathby, mhummar, goozi, saleeg, mthalath, bokhary, mahmoos, mandi, shakshooka, muttabek, saloona, fareed, tamayim, harees, madhroobah, khabeesah/aseedah, irgag, maftoot, iqaly, gaimat, clayjah, ghuraibah, rishoofah, balaleet/shaeriyah, and sago. You can find sago at Asain markets. just boil it with cardammom and saffron, I think. Also, balaleet can be made using fettucini. You boil it with sugar and add cardamom. I’m handicapped at cooking so, excuse the recipes. If anything, I don’t think you’ll find rishoofa because it’s a small town treat. Good Luck!
